Designed to protect teak wood against food and drink stains such wine, olive oil, butter, or ketchup while
keeping the natural look of the surface.

Prevent stains and acts as an inhibitor from mold and mildew.
Made for optimal penetration into hardwoods with dense, low-porosity surfaces such as teak.
Proper application allows for easy cleaning of food spills with a clean damp cloth.
For best results on teak furniture used outdoors, we highly suggest the application of Teak Protector
Golden Care Teak Protector (30101) prior to Teak Shield if you would like to maintain the new look of teak furniture.
Use alone if you would like your teak to weather to a beautiful, flawless silver patina, if so desired. (Formerly known as Teak Patinizer)

Instructions For Use:

* Before using this product, eye protection and rubber gloves
should be worn. Cover the ground under your working area before cleaning.
* New Teak: First clean with our Teak & Hardwood Cleaner to remove some of
the natural oils (or weather for 2 weeks outside before treatment).
* On dirty dark-grey wood: clean wood first with our Teak & Hardwood Cleaner.
If cleaned wood feels rough, sand lightly before treating with Teak Shield.
* On Patina-grey Teak: apply carefully by dabbing (rubbing damages the grey patine).
* Make sure the hardwood is 100% dry and free of dust..
* Shake for at least 1 minute before use. Apply a thin layer of Teak Shield with a soft cloth.
* Allow to dry for one hour and then apply a second thin coat of Teak Shield. Let the
Wood dry for 48 hours before exposure to moisture and rain.
* It is recommended that you treat your Teak Furniture with Teak Shield once a year.
Tabletops should be treated more often.

*Do not use harsh cleaners or it will weaken the coating and reapplying will be necessary.

NOTE: For stubborn or difficult to remove stains such as wine or grease, try having the stain removed with
soapy (dish washing soap) water immediately after the occurrence. Wait to dry completely before applying
any teak maintenance product.

Suggested quantity requirement
A 1 (one) liter bottle will protect approximately 1 (one) dining set for 8 (eight) i.e. 1 table + 8 dining chairs.

Sur Last Furniture Covers
Sur Last Covers may not be used, washed, altered or damaged and must be suitable for resale. If the cover has been taken out of the box and left on the furniture overnight, that cover is not returnable. If you are unsure of the look or size, please keep the cover in the box and inside. Returns must be submitted within 30 days of the purchase date.
