Expensive but worth it. I was a little concerned about having to assemble it (as in Ikea), but it went without a hitch and went together well. I bought some so called Teak oil at Home Depot, and cannot figure out why the vendor charges so much if they do it for you.

Beautifully finished, hefty stool. Others I had looked at were flimsy, and/or had rougher finishes. This was extremely easy to assemble. The instructions made it look like there would be much more to it, but I only had to insert 4 screws (one for each leg), with a hex wrench that was provided in the package. The only downside was the price, which was high. I was willing to pay more for a higher quality product, but it still stung a bit.

When I upgraded my shower I thought about having a built in bench but they take up so much space and are hard to clean around. Not everyone wants to sit down but it is nice to have the option. This little bench is perfect for our 4ft by 5ft shower. It is strong enough to hold me but still small enough to be left in the corner out of the way.

The stool is exactly as advertised. It came pre-assembled and was well packaged. The only thing it does not have is a way to adjust the length of the front center leg to help prevent tipping over (forward) on an uneven shower floor (which should all slope gently downward toward the drain).
