Westminster has been the iconic source for teak outdoor furniture in the US for decades. I had no need for more until recently, because the stuff never wears out, and sturdily survives Connecticut winters, until finally deciding to throw out two porches with wicker furniture that had slowly rotted and become infested with wasps (the stinging flying insect kind, not the wealthy CT citizen kind). 1. I chose Westminster Teak because I purchased other furniture from them and I'm extremely pleased with the quality! 2. I checked and researched all the chairs. Essentially, these chairs fit the bill and thankfully fit our bodies perfectly as well! They are extremely comfortable w/o a cushion which was my original intent. Living on the ocean I didn't want to be a slave to the cushions! 3. Of course, I wish they were less expensive but as the saying goes..."you get what you pay for" and at WT you do get quality and good service.

Beautiful table. Expands easily. Very pleased with quality. It's a bit narrower than our previous patio table and legs get a little in the way when you have all the chairs around the expanded table. Be careful of spills!! Use placements.
